Bookhead has launched!

I’m excited to share that Bookhead has launched software that includes the core features you need to sell books online! Checkout the flagship store, Bear Creek Books!

I built Bookhead so I could sell my own book collection. My own needs have informed the features for this software, with insight informed by listening to what booksellers need in software. I have a big roadmap planned, and building out these core features for my online store will extend nicely to the features I need to support a brick and mortar store. I’m hoping that as my features grow for Bookhead, so will my online bookstore. I really enjoy this way of developing software, where I get to test out the features myself. It gives me instant feedback about what parts work well, what needs improvement, what features are missing, etc.

I got really excited last week once I finished a new appraisal tool that shows real time market data and an AI-generated price estimate. It’s already saving me sooooo much time, just clicking “appraise” and getting a quick snapshot of the market for a specific book. It’s convenient to have this information on the same web page that I’m entering the inventory, instead of going to BookFinder.com or searching eBay or whatever process you use. (BTW, you can book a demo to see it in action.)

Anyway, that is a distraction from the news:
