ISBN Magic: automatically get book data
I’m excited to launch ISBN Magic on the Google Workspace Marketplace.
It’s a free+ Google Sheets extension that automatically generates bibliographic data from ISBNs.
I made it after I finished implementing bibliographic data for bookhead. Creating small tools like ISBN Magic bring me joy while making software. Crafting these tiny little pieces of software for single, specific use cases. Designing the tool so I can combine it with other tools.
It might be useful if you find yourself managing a book inventory and need author, title, image, and description data. Rather than manually copy/pasting this data between sources, you can use a tidy spreadsheet to help with this process. And it’s fast!
